Last quarter we planted a total of 40 trees

Here at Eloquent we have partnered with Creating Tomorrow’s Forests to do our part in helping the environment. We are very aware that Cloud solutions rely on servers located in data centres, which are power intensive buildings, and have a significant carbon footprint. Which is why we have decided to take action to make an impact on our carbon offset.

Every quarter we are planting trees based off of additional recurring revenue from our current customers, to show our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint for their IT services.

The trees will be planted in Swanstone Wood in Devon over the next couple of months. Swanstone Wood is a former farm used for intensive dairy grazing north of Dartmoor National Park. The soil is free draining, red, loam and will be planted with a mix of native broadleaved trees. There will be underplanting with native bulb species such as bluebells and wild daffodils to add early nectar and pollen value insects, and create a mulch for the growing trees.

We will provide you with more updates as the planting progresses, and as always we thank you for your continued support.
